Why?
Mindfulness helps us to fully enjoy life. Every moment is filled with joy and the feeling of interconnectedness, we just have to take some time to be aware and curious. In our stressful daily lives, it is important to consciously take a break. It is a pleasure to have some time to just relax and slow down together. The inner balance of our heart and mind is the foundation of our well-being.
How?
30 years of scientific research have shown that the techniques of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction enable us to discover and utilize our often hidden inner resources to support our own personal development. By training mindfulness meditation, we enable ourselves to become more peaceful, resilient and content. Surrounded by other practitioners, we are able to concentrate on our current experience more easily, developing compassion towards ourselves and others.
What?
The workshop will include some theoretical content about mindfulness as well as common practice, questions, exchange of experiences and longer periods of silence. Whether you are a beginner or a regular practitioner, everyone is welcome!
Who?
It is led by Jacomo, a qualified MBSR-teacher with many years of experience in practicing and teaching mindfulness, closely connected to scientific research in that field. He studied Complementary Medicine (BSc), teaches with both deep knowledge and a good sense of humour, and currently works at the Institute for Mindfulness and Sustainability (www.ifan-berlin.de).
Where?
The workshop will take place in the beautiful Buddhist centre "Lotus Vihara" located in the heart of Berlin-Mitte. It is a place of peace and calmness and particularly suitable for relaxing and „recharging your batteries“.

- please come 10 minutes earlier, so we can start on time
- recommendation is to wear comfortable and warm clothes
