A 3-week morning intensive course exploring the essential elements of yoga in depth. Online every morning, Monday to Friday, 8:30-10am for 3 weeks.
It is open to everyone – whether you’re just starting, or you’ve practised for a while and are ready to give your practice a greater depth of meaning and understanding. The classes will include a full and well-rounded programme of physical practice, theory, philosophy and meditation. These 3 weeks will give you a valuable depth of knowledge as well as a brightness and confidence in your future yoga practice.
We will explore:
- The historical background and underlying philosophy of Yoga
– A detailed breakdown of the sun salutations
– Alignment in the key asanas & suiting them comfortably to your own body
– The meaning behind the Sanskrit terms we often hear in class, e.g. Om, Namaste, Chakras, Nadis etc.
– Yogic breathing
– The purpose and practice of meditation
– Bringing clarity into everyday life in a practical, grounded (and enjoyable!) way
