Embodied Yoga Philosophy: 6-Month Journey

Are you ready for fresh inspiration & personal growth in 2025?

This course is for you if you’re ready to uncover the deeper layers of yoga’s wisdom in a friendly, accessible way.

In the modern yoga world with sporadic, drop-in classes it can be hard to know how to go deeper.

This course is designed to fill the gaps & explore what yoga is really all about to inspire your practice in an accessible, flexible way.

Movement is only one aspect of the Yoga tradition. There is a whole world of ancient, fascinating & life-enhancing philosophy beyond the movement waiting to be uncovered.

We’ll explore 6 key themes of yoga’s teachings, spread out slowly & steadily across 6 months with plenty of time to digest, integrate & connect with other group members.

Yoga is a vast system of enquiry into the nature of the self and takes us on a path of awakening to greater wholeness and truth. It can enrich our lives with meaning, depth & purpose.

We’ll explore yoga’s essential teachings in a welcoming, accessible and non-dogmatic way

Theory will be complemented with asana, meditation & yoga nidra with each theme woven into practices for a holistic ‘mind & body’ understanding; theory and authentic, embodied experience

Yoga’s ancient wisdom will be guided in a relatable and inspiring way that leaves plenty of room for your questions and your own unique individuality

The lectures are spread over 6 months in order to intentionally take our time. The teachings will be slow and steady. You’ll receive rich insights from this ancient tradition with time to let them ‘‘breathe’’ and integrate in everyday life

‘’Anya’s course changed my life. If you’ve ever had the feeling that there is something ‘more’ to yoga and wanted to go deeper, this is the perfect place.

She is a warm and caring teacher and she introduces the different elements of the practice - beyond the physical, but the physical too! - in a really accessible, personal, and fun way. I really cannot recommend her courses more highly.

Thank you!’’
— Leah Morano
It was a gift listen to your voice & words
— Raffaella

I really admire the work you do & appreciate your approach to teaching. It is very approachable & relatable.

I also really like how you encourage having a chat & a laugh. I think spirituality can have this cold / negative connotation to it - but your classes always feel very human, which is lovely.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. What if I can’t make all of the live dates?
A. That’s ok. Join when you can. The live sessions are not recorded because it’s our priority that you feel free to enjoy lively reflection and relaxed sharing. Your privacy, image and freedom will be respected. even if you miss some live sessions you’ll still have plenty of video material to keep up with, both in terms of practice and theory.

Q. I’m a beginner, is that ok?

A. Yes, absolutely! I’ll guide everything you need to know and everyone is welcome, whether you’re a yoga teacher looking for more depth or an absolute beginner. In fact, it is said that a beginner’s mind is open and available, while an expert’s mind is closed. So, this could even be an advantage! The most important thing is that you have an open mind, ready to benefit from this timeless wisdom.

Q. Do I need to keep up with the material on a monthly basis?
A. No, you are free to follow at your own pace. It’s an advantage if you’re able to watch the teachings before our live sessions to make the most out of having time to reflect and ask questions, but I understand that life gets busy. You’ll have access to all the video teachings for 9 months, so you’ll have plenty of time to explore everything.

Q. Is there some physical yoga as well as teachings?
A. Yes. Your package contains asana as well as meditation videos that are refreshed each month in accordance with each theme and season. You’ll receive a balanced blend of active vinyasa, slow flow and calming meditation. In addition, you’ll receive a themed, guided yoga nidra journey to embody the teachings experientially.

Q. I’d like more 1:1 support. Is there a mentorship option?
A. Yes.
Traditionally, having a personal guide has always been a key part of the learning process. Yoga and meditation are such a personal journey and many questions can come up, especially personal ones that we might not want to share in the group. I offer optional extra 1:on:1 sessions with me to support with what arises on your journey, to offer space to reflect on your own unique experiences and get guidance with your own questions.

Together we can expand on the teachings and tailor your own practice in line with your own goals, passions and intentions. This option is for you if you are brimming with questions, you’re focused on personal growth and want to make the most of this time with an extra level of personal support with an experienced guide.

The sessions can be timed at your own pace - and in accordance with my own schedule - to suit you at just the right stages of the course or after it is complete.

Write to me for more info.

Q. Can I pay by bank transfer or cash instead?
A. Yes - write to me for the details
